Andrew and I are impassionately into National’s baseball games for the snacks. Better participators than onlookers, you can often find us avidly dedicating 8 of 9 innings to crafting the home run meal. Summer shandies in one hand, lightly salted pretzels, veggie chili fries, and cauliflower sandwiches (yes, they have those) in the other. And though we often stop between wanderings, sips, and chews to catch a glimpse of the game, the crowing jewel of our presence, we love getting sucked into the atmosphere, the sunshine, the shouting and hoots, and just letting ourselves get lost in the entirely of the experience. Who has time to sit still anyways? Nearly reading my mind, this May 15th, following a Nationals v. Marlins home game, the Washington Nationals are offering fans the opportunity to flood the field for a post-game sweat session of their own – 45 minutes of guided yoga in the outfield. We’ll be the ones in tree pose munching on peanuts – see you there!
If you haven’t already, be sure to snag your game day ticket.
