In April of 2014, inspired by a desperate and driving desire to somehow start new, to embrace the positive and live freely and natural, I developed what is slowly turning into an internationally recognized (and more locally celebrated) mantra, #GoddessVibes. Founded on the premise of unconditional self-love, positive thinking, and holistic and natural living-the goal has not only been to spread the vibes around the world-through Instagram snapshots of my life and my monthly curation series, highlighting the companies, colors, movements, that truly live up to these values-but, I suppose most pertinently, use this mantra to make vibrant, high quality, and delicious plant-based food nationally (internationally) accessible. Real, unprocessed food is a powerful entity- reducing our risk of ever developing chronic disease and has been shown to holistically treat and reverse the conditions of those suffering. You are, after all, what you eat.
Today I am beyond excited to share the latest development in #GoddessVibes- an elevated take on my beloved Banana Avocado ‘Ice Cream’– the Goddess Bowl. Crafted in collaboration with South Block Juice Co, a Washington, DC and Arlington, VA based juice bar and cafe- the Goddess Bowl, a creamy, creamy green smoothie bowl made with my signature avocado, speckled banana, and spinach base, hits South Block’s menu today, featuring their out-of-this-world Caveman Mylk (a divine blend of soaked cashews, vanilla, cinnamon, dates, and pink himalayan sea salt). Top it all off with Michele’s original granola, raw goji berries, raw coconut flakes, and fresh blueberries. Goddess perfection.
